Since the earliest days of cave paintings visual messages have been used to tell complete stories and even deliver messages that could be critical to the recipient’s very survival.

As the visual sense is the primary method utilized for web users, the art of visual communication is the most important element to consider when developing a web site. Within a few seconds of the initial page load the user makes the decision, stay or go. That decision is primarily based on the tone and appeal of the page’s visual element. Color, font style, weight and the ease at which the message is ascertained.
